My son had a really great time at Camp Woodward, the coaches were a big reason why. I expected them to be good, but I was really impressed by how patient and involved they were with every kid, not just the ones who were already advanced. They kept things fun and relaxed while still clearly knowing what they were doing. He came home more confident and could not stop talking about everything he learned.

I ordered a Woodward hoodie and a hat from the shop, and I’ll admit, the whole process was smoother than I expected. Checkout was simple, and there weren’t any random issues or confusing steps.

Shipping took about a week, which wasn’t amazing, but it was totally reasonable. The hoodie is actually really soft, and the print looks clean instead of cheap or blurry. The hat fit well too, so I can’t really complain there.

If I’m being picky, I do wish they had a little more detail on sizing, because I wasn’t completely sure what to expect. But everything ended up fitting fine, and yeah, I’d probably order merch from them again

I’m sharing this as a bit of a public heads-up because I didn’t expect it to make such a difference. My kid was able to handle everything on her own, and I could tell it gave her a real sense of independence. If you’re looking for something that helps your child feel more capable without you stepping in every second, this is worth paying attention to

I’m usually the type to pick up on patterns, and over the stay I kept noticing little things that made me feel like the campers weren’t being watched closely enough. It wasn’t one huge incident, just repeated moments where safety seemed like it wasn’t getting the attention it should. That made me uneasy.

The pickup process was a little confusing, and the shuttle showed up later than expected. We did make it there fine in the end, but a bit more clear communication would’ve been the decent thing to do for people waiting around.

The meals were better than I thought they’d be, there were plenty of simple options which I liked, and while a few of the dinners got cold fast, overall I was happy with it

My son went to Woodward this summer and he had a great time. He came home completely wiped out every night, but in that happy, full-day kind of way, if that makes sense. He kept going on about the ramps, the coaches, and the friends he made.
I’m giving 4 stars only because drop-off was a little confusing at first, and I do think communication could be better here and there. But overall, he had a blast and was already asking if he could go back next year.

The staff were really friendly and helped us out when we looked a little lost. Overall, good experience.

I didn’t pay much attention to everything else because I kept getting stuck on how uncomfortable the cabin felt. The bed was hard, and the room stayed way too hot, so it was tough to really relax or sleep well

I really appreciated that the prices were easy to find and weren’t hidden until the very end like some places do. That was a BIG plus for me. A couple of the add-ons still took me a minute to understand, but overall it felt upfront. I just wish everything was laid out in one spot so I didn’t have to click around as much.

Wow. This skatepark was way better than I expected. The ramps and bowls were great, the ground was smooth, and nothing felt sketchy at all. My kid seriously did not want to leave. Fun. We’ll definitely be back.

My daughter ended up having a really good time at Woodward, and I was happy to see her feel included even though she was nervous going in. The staff seemed patient, and I liked that the groups had kids with different skill levels, so she didn’t feel out of place. That said, I did feel a little misled about the check-in process because it wasn’t as clear or smooth as I expected from the information we got beforehand. Still, overall it was a nice experience.

I signed my daughter up for gymnastics and wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but the setup was better than I pictured. The gym areas had plenty of equipment and enough space for the kids to practice, and the coaches seemed friendly and helpful. It did get a little crowded at certain times, and pickup on the first day was more confusing than I expected. That said, my daughter had a great week, learned a lot, and was excited to go back each day. I’d likely send her again

I had a good time here overall. The facilities were fine and it’s a decent spot to hang out, but a few areas did feel a little worn down and could use some attention. Still, it’s a nice enough park for a casual visit.

I noticed the pads felt kind of old and beaten up, like they’d seen a lot of use. They still worked, I guess, but it was a little disappointing. Anyway—everything else was fine, but the equipment could definitely use a refresh.

But the staff seemed really aware of where the kids were and what was going on. He still had room to have fun and do his own thing, but it never felt like he was just left alone.

I went to Woodward without knowing anyone, so I was a little nervous at first. Luckily, the vibe was really welcoming pretty much right away, and it was easy to start talking to people without feeling awkward or left out.
I ended up making a bunch of friends within just a few days, and hanging out after the sessions was almost as fun as the actual activities. A couple moments felt a little hectic, but nothing that ruined the experience at all. I’d definitely go back...

Our experience at Camp Woodward was really positive overall. My kid had a great time, and the schedule made it easy for them to know where they needed to be and what was coming next. There were plenty of activities to choose from, which was a big plus. The only downside was that some days felt a little too full, so moving from one activity to the next could feel rushed. If there had been just a bit more breathing room between things, it would’ve been perfect.

Overall, it’s a good camp with a lot of different programs, which I appreciated since it’s not just the same activity every day. My kid really liked getting to try new things. That said, it did feel a bit hectic at times, almost like they might be juggling more than they can smoothly manage. Still, we had a solid experience overall.

I wasn’t very happy with how hard it was to get my money back. The refund rules felt harsh, and I expected a faster response when I reached out about it.
